Doctoral student in Dept. of Neuroscience, University of Turin. Cerebellum provides a suitable model to study neuronal plasticity and repair for its elegant and unique structure. By gaining a better understanding of the cerebellar neuronal mechanisms underlying learning and memory, we aim to improve the brains capacity to learn/memory and repair following injury or neurodegenerative disease that affect memory, e.g. Alzheimer’s disease.
